Product Comparison
The Product Comparison feature allows you to directly compare multiple products side by side within the catalog. The interface has been visually redesigned as part of the UI update and is now accessible via the top right corner throughout the entire Market and Product sections.
How It Works
1. Select products
Mark the products you want to compare in the product catalog view by clicking “Add to Comparison”. https://app.eyva.ai/product-analysis2. Start comparison
Click the “Comparison” button at the top right of the catalog view.
Actions within the Comparison View
Once opened, the comparison section offers the following options:
🔎 Compare selected products – View selected products side by side
💾 Save as new comparison – Save your comparison for later
📄 Generate product summary – Automatically generate a summary of the main differences
➕ Add to existing comparison – Add selected products to an existing comparison set
🗂️ View saved comparisons – Open and revisit previous saved comparisons
Product Comparison Results
The comparison view enables a structured, side-by-side analysis of multiple products—perfect for competitive research, assortment planning, or new product development. Users can freely select products and compare all relevant attributes.
Categories Being Analyzed
Each comparison includes the following information for every product:
Product
Basic details like name, brand, price, and image.Packaging Text
Claims and marketing statements pulled from packaging or product descriptions.Effects
Promised effects such as “moisturizing”, “natural”, or “soothing”.Attributes
Label claims like “vegan”, “cruelty free”, “paraben free”, etc.Concerns
Target needs or skin issues addressed (e.g., “wrinkle”, “dry skin”, “skin barrier”).Etailers
Availability across different platforms (e.g., Douglas, Flaconi, Amazon).Certificates
Official certifications such as NATRUE, ECOCERT, PeTA, etc.Active Ingredients
Key active ingredients like Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Niacinamide, etc.Ingredients
Full INCI list of the product.Positive Mentions
Positively highlighted content in product reviews.Negative Mentions
Negatively mentioned aspects in customer reviews.

Use Case:
The comparison section is especially useful for conducting detailed competitor analysis, identifying formulation trends, or defining product USPs in the market.
