Product Performance

The Product Performance section highlights the most visible products across leading online retailers such as Rossmann, dm, Müller, and Douglas – based on their organic ranking within each product category.

What Does This Mean?

Similar to the well-known Amazon Bestseller Rank, the ranking displayed here reflects a product’s current relevance and visibility on a specific e-tailer – independent of paid promotions. It is a data-driven ranking informed by dynamic market signals.

The higher a product appears in the ranking, the more likely it is to:

  • Be in high consumer demand

  • Match user interest

  • Show strong performance metrics

→ This methodology enables a realistic, consumer-oriented view of product performance.

What Can Be Analyzed?

For each platform, you’ll see:

  • Top Ranked Products
A list of the most visible products per e-tailer, based on their current category rank.

  • Category Rank
The precise position of a product within its category and its shift compared to the previous period (e.g., “+3” = 3 ranks up).

  • Trend Curve
A visual line chart showing how the product's ranking has developed over the past 30 days.

Filter & Analysis Options

  • E-tailer Selection
You can filter by retailer (e.g., Rossmann, Douglas, or dm). Clicking on the logo switches the view accordingly.

  • Time Range
Use the “In the Last 30 Days” drop-down to define a custom time frame for which you want to analyze product performance. Chose between 30 and 90 days.
